Your one month challenge to develop healthy, biblical financial habits.

DAY 7

FAITHFULNESS

Faithfulness in small things is a big thing. Throughout Scripture, God calls each of us to be faithful. When it comes to our finances, we often get this confused with becoming successful.

Financial success, according to the world, is measured by the amount of money we have accumulated, but it is not the standard God uses. God calls us to be faithful to Him with what we have, whether that is a lot or a little.

One day, we will all stand before the Lord and give an account of how we used our time, talents, and resources. We will not be asked if we amassed great wealth, we will be asked if we were faithful with what we had, no matter the amount. After we are evaluated, we are appointed to be stewards in God’s eternal Kingdom!

If you have been faithful to allow God to use you for His purposes, He will affirm you, rejoice, and then reward you with an assignment.

Today's action item:

Take some time today and write down 10 things you are grateful for.  Write them in your journal or on Day 7 of your 30 Day Snapshot.  These could be material possessions you've acquired by the generosity of others, gifts from the Lord, characteristics, on intangible gifts.

Now take time to thank the Lord for each one of these gifts.  Say them out loud and thank Him for His goodness and faithfulness to you.
