Crown is excited to announce a new partnership with International Business as Mission (IBAM), an organization dedicated to transforming communities through faith-driven entrepreneurship, practical business training, and discipleship.
Together, the organizations share a vision of equipping individuals with the knowledge and resources to create lasting economic opportunities while empowering local leaders to become catalysts for transformation in their communities.
In October, Crown and IBAM took an exciting first step together through Phase 1 of an entrepreneurship training initiative in Colombia.
The training equipped Venezuelan leaders with practical entrepreneurship principles and prepared them to serve as Master Trainers, sharing what they’ve learned with others in their communities.
Rather than focusing solely on individual entrepreneurs, this approach emphasizes multiplication—equipping local leaders who can train, mentor, and empower others.
“We have launched the Business as Mission program for the first time in Spanish, taking Venezuela as a pilot to place in the hands of Venezuelan leaders tools that allow them to overcome poverty in a sustainable way, breaking reliance on donations. The Business as Mission program trains micro-entrepreneurs in the fundamental principles of business management from a biblical perspective, taking IBAM’s global experience of more than 20 years and contextualizing it for an environment rich with potential like the current Venezuelan context. We believe these future entrepreneurs will have everything they need not only to launch their micro-enterprises, but also to establish themselves as the future business leaders of the country.” -Frank González (Managing Director of Crown Spanish)
At the heart of this partnership is the belief that entrepreneurship can be a powerful tool for both economic opportunity and spiritual growth.
IBAM’s approach emphasizes three principles: Give, Teach, and Equip. Through compassionate support, practical business education, and mentorship, the model seeks to help individuals develop sustainable livelihoods and become leaders who invest in others.
This approach aligns with Crown’s mission to advance God’s principles of stewardship and equip people to experience lasting financial and spiritual transformation.
The Colombia training marks the beginning of a growing partnership, with plans to continue expanding the entrepreneurship program in the coming year.
For those interested in exploring how faith-driven entrepreneurship can create lasting change, IBAM is hosting its free online Kingdom Impact Summit, November 16–20, 2026.
The five-day event will feature more than 30 speakers exploring the intersection of faith, business, generosity, and community transformation. Crown CEO Chuck Bentley will be among the speakers, joining IBAM founder Steve Adams for a conversation about Kingdom impact.
