Work: Tips to Protect Your Job
If you have a job, work hard to protect it.
When you “Work as unto the Lord”, others notice. Here are some things I find valuable in employees. Be on time every time. Be respectful and refuse to gossip. “Do unto others as you would want them to do unto you.” Be flexible and adjust to changes that arise. Have a positive attitude. Be productive. Look for projects where you can use the gifts and talents that God has given you.
Be a problem solver and always be learning. Take advantage of your company’s educational benefits and seek ways to gain new skills. With so much uncertainty in today’s market, work at making yourself valuable to your employer.
