What does God require of us when it comes to managing money?

Today, our founder, the late Larry Burkett, speaks about God’s plan for our finances and the one essential character quality that He expects of us.

As Larry pointed out, discipline is required when it comes to managing money. Otherwise, we’ll spend all we have on ourselves. Discipline is the ability to say ‘yes’ to what is good and beneficial and to say ‘no’ to those things that are not beneficial.

Let me turn that around another way. Discipline is learning to say ‘no’ to what I want right now so that I can say ‘yes’ to what I need to have for tomorrow.
