Warren Buffet’s Spending Tips

Spending habits impact your future!

Warren Buffett is one of the richest people on earth. He’s CEO of Berkshire Hathaway, which is worth hundreds of billions of dollars. Yet, he exercises frugal habits in his personal life. Yahoo Finance recently reported his list of things to avoid if you want to improve our financial condition. Here goes: First, don’t neglect personal development. Invest in your skills and education to boost your earning potential. Control your spending and don’t rely on credit cards. Never carry a balance. Don’t frequent bars and pubs. Rather, choose affordable social gatherings or gather at homes to save money. Avoid chasing the latest technology. Carefully assess whether an upgrade is a need or a want. If buying, choose functional over flashy. Buy pre-owned vehicles and drive them as long as they’re reliable. Skip the depreciation of newer vehicles.

Do you have unused gym memberships? He suggests free or low-cost fitness routines at home. Unnecessary subscriptions are costly! Review them regularly, and cancel any that aren’t used frequently. Regular nights out get expensive. He prefers budget-friendly home-cooked meals and movie nights. If you gamble, it’s time you understand the odds. Instead, seek long-term financial health, not momentary thrills. Now Buffet’s tips are good, but God’s are even better! Become a wise steward. That will impact your eternal future.
