True Financial Freedom

Financial freedom is not just about being debt free and having some money in the bank.  It’s a condition of the heart.

Jesus tells us in Matthew 6, that wherever our money is, that is where our heart will be also. If you desire to become a more cheerful giver, start giving – and watch what it does to improve your attitude. If saving is your struggle, start sacrificing more and put away extra spending money to build up your emergency funds. 

Now if spending is the area you need to get under control, start by creating a budget and find someone to help you put it into practice. Jesus talks about money more than anything else in the New Testament because He wants our hearts to fully rely on Him, not money.
