Thanksgiving is a one day holiday.
The Bible tells us to remember the work of the Lord. Let’s make it our daily practice. In Psalm 77 it says: “I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember your wonders of old. I will ponder all your work, and meditate on your mighty deeds.” (Psalm 77:11-12) In Psalm 103: “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits…” (Psalm 103:1-2) For our good and his glory, we’re called to meditate on His faithfulness, and when we do, we can’t help but give thanks. Ask God to bring specific events to mind. Write them down and thank Him daily.
