Testimony Tuesday – Teaching High Schoolers God’s Financial Principles

It’s Testimony Tuesday!

We recently heard from one of our Freedom Investors. Introduced to Crown’s teaching many years ago, this person is now passing on those lessons! Here’s what they said:

“Thank you so much for your faithfulness to so many. Not only are you helping people get out of debt, you’re pointing them to God’s Word and what He says about finances. They’re finding true spiritual freedom in Christ. I was able to use your course for high schoolers this past year to teach them about Money and Personal Finances. This was a change from a different program we have used in the past. I cannot tell you how thrilled I was. Thank you!”

My response is thank you for teaching the young people God’s put in your path! I pray their lives will be permanently changed by what they learn about handling money God’s way. Our time on Earth is short, but the impact we make for God’s kingdom lasts forever. The values we pass on to our children and the children of others have eternal ramifications. We have the opportunity to teach and demonstrate the principles of wise financial management, and that’s truly priceless.

Psalm 78:4 says, “…we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, his power, and the wonders he has done.” By passing on God’s financial principles, we raise up faithful stewards who are examples for their peers. Plus, they’re equipped to teach future generations. “May they put their trust in God, remember His deeds, and keep His commands.” (Psalm 78:7)
