Testimony Tuesday – Slavic Christian Church
We can serve immigrants with Crown materials.
We’re grateful for the volunteers who advance God’s principles of stewardship. They help the rich, the poor, the urban, and the rural, so that every person has the knowledge they need to choose to live freely in Christ. Crown has begun a relationship with SCC – the Slavic Christian Church in Woodstock, GA. About 400 people attend, and most of the middle to older congregation speaks Russian and Ukrainian. A long-time supporter of Crown recently spoke to their pastor and asked if he could teach a study with our materials. He’s led Crown courses and Bible studies for more than a decade. The last few years, he’s used our Do Well study. The church offered to translate it into Russian and possibly Ukrainian.
Our volunteer shared the following testimony with us. “Each person that completes this course never fails to receive a blessing from God as they adopt His principles. One lady received a new roof, a young couple was given a car, a man even received a job. Several winters ago, in New York State, a couple with a fixed income had high heating bills. The wife went to a thrift store and bought a bag full of stuff for $3.00. When she got home, she found a broach and earrings with Christian Dior stamped on the back. She put them on eBay and received $1,200 for the sale. It provided money for heat that winter.” Stephen is excited to start teaching Do Well to SCC members. Please pray for those who work on translating the material.
