Testimony Tuesday – She Learned That God Owns it All!

Today, a Budget Coaching testimony!

One of our budget coaches reported what she’s experienced in our training program. Her eyes were opened to the quantity of Bible verses related to money and its purpose in our lives. It made her more aware of God’s interest in our daily experiences and His guidance to wisely use what He gives us. The most important lesson she learned is that everything she had is from God. Whether using finances to serve others or when giving time and talents, she now sees Him as the Provider of all she has. He’s given her the talent and opportunities that brought her to where she is today. Her challenge is to seek His guidance and follow His direction.

She and her husband were led to complete their will and estate planning. They paid off her car while continuing to pay down other debt. Their goal is to be completely debt-free within the next 36 months. She no longer separates her Christian life from her finances because she knows they’re completely interrelated.

Four words basically changed her life. God owns it all. That’s right. God owns everything. Let the following verses sink into your heart today. 1 Chronicles 29:11 says, “Yours, Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours…” Or Psalm 24:1 – “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it…”
