Testimony Tuesday – Restoration Path

Restoration Path is a new Crown initiative.

In 2021, a beautiful partnership emerged between Crown and the leaders of The Point Youth Center in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. A group of single moms, in need of hope and God’s life-changing principles, became the pilot test group for Crown’s Restoration Path program. Most people don’t understand God’s design for their lives. They go about their day facing insecurities and asking, “Is there more to life than this? Who am I really? What is my purpose? Why does my friend have more than me?” It causes inner pain and confusion about who they are and who the Creator made them to be.

Individuals in underserved communities often don’t even have the luxury of asking such questions. They’re too busy, concerned with that day’s crisis: Do I have enough food to feed my children? The baby’s sick. Will I get fired if I stay home to care for her? How can I possibly pay the bills? Is there any hope for my situation?

Well, these moms overcame tremendous obstacles. Many secured a new job, reliable transportation, and better accommodations. They were able to escape dependency on government programs learning to steward what they already had. Most of all, their hearts were transformed by understanding God’s great love for them. They discovered their identity in Christ and how to live a life aligned with His purpose. Their newfound confidence and sense of God-given purpose provided the hope of a new reality for them and generations to come. To learn more about this program, search Restoration Path at crown.org.
