Testimony Tuesday – Nigeria

Are you sharing your wealth?

Crown has millions of listeners across the U.S. thanks to you and stations like this one. We serve in 120 nations, have content in 77 languages, and equip more than 150 organizations in Biblical stewardship. After one partner completed teaching in Nigeria, we received this testimony from a trainer:

In our financial training, we shared the story of Henry, the main character in the African Money Map. At our final lesson, one of our trainees raised his hand to share. Normally we get a lot of responses from people relating to how they have walked Henry’s story and gone into debt. A couple of people shared how they learned that it’s not good to keep financial secrets from your wife, but this particular one struck me. A gentleman shared that he felt convicted after hearing the story. He said, ‘I have beans sitting at home right now, and beans are expensive. I need to go home and share them with my neighbors.’ I just loved that that was the part of the story that spoke to him and convicted his heart. We’ve been blessed with resources, and as Christians, it’s our privilege to share those resources with those who have less. Thanks again for the free materials.”

We may not know how much our gifts matter to others. When the Apostle Paul set out from Macedonia, the Philippians were the only church that supported him. They sent aid more than once when he was in need in Thessalonica. He described those gifts as “a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God.” (Philippians 4:18)
