Testimony Tuesday – Immigrants Eliminate Debt

Can you use a compassionate budget coach?

Loverne and Robert immigrated to the United States and ended up in a deep financial pit. Listen to how God set them free:

“As immigrants, we were new to this debt-focused financial culture. We fell prey to using a credit card for payments until we couldn’t keep up. We thought the card would help build our credit score and give cash rewards, but things spiraled out of control. Christmas purchases, untimely medical bills, and a timeshare purchase overwhelms us. We cried out to the Lord and the Holy Spirit reminded me of the Crown Money Map that we got when we first migrated. I searched online and discovered that exactly what we asked God for was being offered by Crown. Our budget coach was a Godsend. He brought a level head and new insight that helped us eliminate debt. The topic of God’s economy and man’s economy had a significant impact on us. Contentment and peace were another area that helped us to grow. The Lord is our ultimate provider. We should be content – while simultaneously thanking the Lord and resting in His promises. So much freedom and mental relief came from seeing the debt reduce. Even though our income didn’t change, our hearts and minds did – which motivated us to prioritize closing those debts one by one. Today, our credit cards are paid off and we’re on our way to eliminating all debt.”
