Testimony Tuesday – Crown Innovation Center, South Africa

God is expanding our reach around the world. 

We’ve partnered with Foundations for Farming to unlock the economic potential of Africa. We recently established the Crown Innovation Center in Cape Town, South Africa. Our desire is to train leaders who help impoverished communities become food secure. This sets them free from the prison of daily survival, and sets in motion their entrepreneurial dreams. We’re stronger together in this partnership because we’re teaching on faith, families, finances, and farming. 

Earlier this year, we showcased the transformation of a car parking lot. The soil was so compacted that experts said it would never grow anything. Yet, this unusable soil has been transformed into a flourishing field of productivity without conventional tillage or conventional farming methods. In just 3 months, we’ve confirmed that the wisdom of man is mere foolishness to God.

Crown and Foundations for Farming are committed to breaking the twin yokes of poverty and dependency. We know that Biblical financial principles cross all cultures. Plus, the management practices we share are helpful for anyone in any career. Four management principles guide our farmers: do your task on time, to a high standard, without wastage, and with joy. These enhance productivity and sustainability in agriculture, but they’re transferable elsewhere. We invite you to join us as we serve the Lord Jesus in this endeavor.
