Testimony Tuesday – Coaching Client: Don’t Worry

Are you trying to get out of debt? Well, stay tuned….

We love hearing testimonies from those we serve. Clients benefit from our budget coaching program and express their appreciation and insights in a variety of ways. Listen to what one person learned about worrying:

I realized I had fallen for marketing campaigns that encouraged buying more and bigger, often using credit cards, leading me into debt. I’ve
stopped borrowing, created a budget, and set up a debt payoff plan using automatic deductions. I will trust God that my needs will be met and not worry about the future.

Matthew 6:34, says, “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.” I now value eternal rewards over temporal ones here on Earth and feel more grateful and a sense of contentment with my life, even in this difficult season. When I walk every morning and hear the birds sing and watch them fly up above, I’m reminded of that passage where Jesus says not to worry. “Look at the birds of the air; they don’t sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to
your life?”
(Matthew 6:26-27)

Well said! Worry negates contentment and gratitude. Depending on God builds trust that grows stronger over time. Stop worrying about tomorrow, trust God for today, put a plan in action to reduce your debt, and watch what will happen with slow and steady progress!
