At the age of 20, I worked and studied with no understanding of my calling or purpose. I believed that work provided financial security, but was separate from my life and identity. Rather than choosing a career, I accepted opportunities that came my way – believing I’d grow by changing jobs. It wasn’t until my Career Direct consultation that I gained the insight and clarity I’d been missing. I had the chance to hear the truth about myself from a professional who showed full trust in me. For the first time in my life, someone reflected back to me the beauty of my design. I saw the clear connection between my personality, interests, skills, and values. It made me feel that I am enough, and for once, I truly appreciated myself. I remember feeling proud of who I am and hopeful about what I can offer the world. What made it even more powerful for me was the faith, prayer, and encouragement of the consultant. It turned the session into something sacred.
