Testimony Tuesday – Budget Coaching Clients

It’s Testimony Tuesday! 

One of the great joys at Crown is hearing stories of transformation from our budget coaching clients. We recently received a report from a couple who wrote the following:

“Our experience has been helpful, challenging, and encouraging. We were headed in the right direction and had a decent budget. But we weren’t staying on it due to unforeseen expenses and bad spending habits. The budgeting course, especially the Bible study parts and the discussion of those with our coach, helped us see the big picture and understand our stewardship more clearly. Being slaves to debt and the world’s view of finances is awful. Biblical knowledge, accountability, and sound advice can free us of money problems, or at least free us from worrying about issues that arise from living in a fallen world. This not only gives us peace but allows us to be more generous. God’s way of handling finances works best, period.  There’s no life in the way the world handles money and the love of money.  We want to honor God with what He’s given us by being good stewards, being generous, and by seeking first his kingdom.  Our lack of worry about finances, and the ability to help those in need can be a wonderful testimony to unbelievers and believers. We should be debt-free in the next few months and are saving for future expenses. We have a greater passion for being good stewards and honoring God with our finances. I would encourage everyone to take this course, no matter where they are in their financial journey.”
