Testimony Tuesday – Alliance Partner, Feed the Generations in Ghana

Stewardship training is helping to eliminate hunger and suffering in Africa.

Feed the Generations (or FTG) is located in Ghana. Through agricultural development, education, and the truth of Christ’s love, they are creating sustainable change for communities in need. Matthew, FTG’s founder, was introduced to Crown’s African Money Map years ago. Since then, he’s personally followed the principles and runs FTG’s finances accordingly. We’ve seen how the Lord is using Matthew and Feed the Generations to bless many in Ghana. He plans to formally teach his employees the principles of the Money Map and take it to members of the community.

Matthew completed Foundations for Farming’s in-depth training in South Africa. He now understands the “why” behind these methods. Since first meeting Matthew, they’ve moved to a larger location where they’ve expanded the type of produce they grow. They’ve planted fruit trees. They grow and dry chili peppers and produce chili powder at the farm. They’ve developed an area to raise hundreds of chickens. A portion of them, along with eggs, are sold to the community, providing a vital source of protein. Dedicated farmland is being developed to raise crops for donation and fundraising. They hope to grow seedlings for transplants at other projects.

10% of everything they grow at the farm is donated to children’s homes, orphanages, and other organizations in need within their area. Matthew is a joy-filled, creative entrepreneur. Crown’s honored to have him as one of our Alliance Partners.
