Teach: Multiplication of Resources

A changed heart is good for the economy!

When God put Adam in the garden He gave him the creation mandate: be fruitful and multiply. Adam had to fight the weeds and the challenges of the fall in order to make things grow. He had to work or he’d go hungry.

Likewise, if we don’t work, we don’t eat. We experience poverty and hopelessness. We have to work, but we also need to work with the right motives. The second Adam, Jesus Christ, gave us the Great Commission Mandate. We’re to teach people not just how to make money but how to make disciples, and they’re interlinked. A changed heart with the right motives multiplies natural resources and capital.
