Stewardship vs Spending on Guilty Pleasures

Do you have a “guilty pleasure” when it comes to spending? Most Americans say that eating out, shopping, ordering takeout, and streaming entertainment are top of their list. They also say they’re willing to cut back on all those expenses except one. Can you guess what it is?

Streaming services! Americans did not want to give up their Netflix, Hulu, Sling, and cable.

I don’t think there is anything wrong with relaxing or watching a quality TV show…unless it harms your budget and takes your heart away from the Lord.

Take a look at how you spend your time and money. Does it accurately reflect your relationship with Christ? Matthew 6:21 says, “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
