Should You File Your Own Taxes?

Tax season is quickly approaching. And you’re going to have to answer an important question – do you file on your own or pay someone to do it for you?

For those of us who are not professional accountants, this is an important question each Spring.

If your taxes are complicated, or you’ve had a major life change in the past year, I recommend that you  hire a trusted professional.

But if if you have all your documents organized and prepared, a thorough eye for detail, and a pretty straightforward financial situation, use a do it yourself on-line tax filing program to save money.

Whatever you decide, remember Proverbs 15:12, “Without counsel plans fail, but with many advisers they succeed”.
