Re-purposing Gifts

Have you ever had to fake your excitement over a Christmas gift? Haha me too!

You gave Grandma specific ideas for the kids, and even put stuff in the Amazon cart for your spouse, and you still end up with things that were NOT on your list!

Well, it’s sometimes funny when it happens. But we do this all the time with God. We ask Him for specific gifts too – . “Lord, please give me exactly what I want. Especially when if comes to our finances! ”

And then He gives us something else entirely. Something that was not on our list. But, God’s gifts are always good and always on time. They may not be what you expect. And you may fail to understand why He gave you the gift he chose…but we can always be grateful and trust him.
