Raising Money-Smart Kids
Are you trying to raise money smart kids?
Teaching your kids about money is NOT easy! They ask the really tough questions! But teaching them about stewardship from an early age will have lifelong benefits. So get started by helping your kids save at least 50% of their allowance or birthday money, give 10% away, and spend what is left.
Teach them organization by setting up 3 envelopes to divide their allowance – they can see how much is allocated to saving, giving, and spending. And if they want something that costs more than they have, do NOT buy it for them. Teach them to be patient and save for what they want. If you instill these habits early on, they’ll likely follow them all of their lives.
