Raising Money-Smart Kids

Has one of your children ever come to you, complaining that “so-and-so” has a better “such-and-such” and saying, they just wish they could have something that cool.

It seems a little childish when our kids complain to us about not having the “best”. Sometimes they need to be reminded who provided that money for their “not-so-cool” bike!

But have you ever caught yourself having the same attitude? About someone else’s house, car, clothes, or lifestyle?

Teaching our kids contentment is not an easy task. But it starts with us.

So let your kids join you in learning the lesson of contentment. Encourage each other and read Hebrews 13;5-6  together next time a new iPhone comes out.
