Promises from Proverbs

My wife and I are blessed to have 4 sons. So wisdom from Proverbs rang through our house on a regular basis.

Proverbs 20:13 says, Do not love sleep or you will grow poor; stay awake and you will have food to spare.

If you have kids, especially teenage boys, this verse comes in handy!

When we work hard and avoid laziness, we stay out of trouble. Plus our finances improve.
