Obsessed With Your Work

Are you a workaholic?

Now work is a good thing! God created work as a blessing. He gave Adam a job to do before sin ever entered the world. Our jobs – whether in an office or at home with the kids – are a great opportunity for us to glorify God, but it’s easy in today’s world to become obsessed with work and have nothing left over for our families or our Savior.

Striking a balance between your work and home life requires faith in God. If you truly believe God is in control, then take time to rest. Listen to Psalm 127: “In vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat—for he grants sleep to those he loves.”
