Money Myth 4: Credit Scores

Have you ever heard the myth that canceling credit cards boost your credit score? Well, that’s not exactly true!

There is a long list of credit myths. People try to do a number of things to improve their credit score but most of them are gimmicks that don’t really help.

Paying your bills on time and minimizing how much you borrow is the best way to have a great credit score.

But in God’s eyes, your stewardship score matters a lot more than your credit score.

So instead of worrying about having a perfect credit score, concern yourself with what God wants you to do with your money. In fact, if you want to hear “Well done, good and faithful servant”, you need to apply the Parable of the Talents. Your stewardship score matters for eternity.
