Money doesn’t solve financial problems!

If you lose your job, you need another job. If you have a health crisis, you need resources to pay the bills. I’m addressing those who live on the financial cliff, always hoping for a windfall. They believe money will bail them out from all their financial mistakes. Some even put their hope in winning the lottery or get-rich-quick schemes.

The Bible makes it clear that the battle to live Godly lives is won or lost first in our hearts. We must choose to follow God’s way, whatever the cost. Only then will we find freedom from the control of money. Can I ask you right now to open your heart to the Lord?  Allow Him to deal with wherever you are in life, no matter how many financial problems you have. Get rid of any attitude that’s contrary to God’s plan for you, and replace it with Truth. Confess it to the Lord now. He loves you and wants you to cast your cares upon Him.

Will you pray with me? Lord Jesus, I confess that I have placed my hope in money and not in You.  I trust You to faithfully provide for my needs. I want to obey Your principles and follow Your ways, not my own. Take control of my finances and teach me Your ways. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
