The star of the ‘National Treasure’ movies has been in the news for his lavish spending…and now overwhelming debt. At one point he was worth $150 million, but has spent so much money on worthless and indulgent items that now he’s desperate for income to pay off his debts.

It’s another heartbreaking story of actors and athletes who have made devastating financial decisions despite their unbelievable wealth.

Proverbs says, “Wealth gained hastily will dwindle, but whoever gathers little by little will increase it.” A good reminder for us all!
