Know How God Has Made You

According to Steve Jobs, “The only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle.”

If you’re not passionate about your work, then you may have the wrong job. Rather than let years go by in discouragement, keep your eyes and ears open for change. Watch carefully and wait patiently, believing God will open doors you may not know exist yet.

Psalm 27:14 says -Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart –

It’s important to know how God designed you,  so research jobs available in that industry. You’ll be armed with information when it comes time to interview or step out and start your own business.

Seek a mentor in the industry or a college representative who will tell you what you need to expect or how to prepare if formal education is needed.

In the meantime, upgrade your skills and abilities. Take classes to give you the necessary training for the move you want to make.

Remain flexible about salary and benefits. A new career field may not grant you an immediate financial benefit. So, make sure you’re in a position to afford the change before you make any impulsive move.

Also, Work out. Your will look better, have more energy, and a better outlook on life.

Most importantly, spend time with God. Fast and pray. Keep a journal to record the things God teaches you. It can be a precious reminder in days, months, or years to come of His faithfulness at this juncture of your life.
