Keeping Up with the Joneses

Kristen had that “one friend” whose life just seemed perfect….on Instagram. Perfect kids, perfect husband, perfect house, perfect life. But her life wasn’t all Instagram made it seem.

See, Kristen knew that her friend” was actually struggling with debt. Her marriage was shaky and her kids were not doing great either.

But even knowing all of that didn’t make it easy to avoid the comparison game.

Proverbs 13:7 – One person pretends to be rich, yet has nothing; another pretends to be poor, yet has great wealth.

Kristen resolved that she would rather live modestly on Earth but have great wealth in heaven. She went against the comparison pressures and Kristen found her joy and contentment in Christ.
