Fruits of the Spirit – Patience
Twenty-three months. That’s how long it took Jeffrey to save for a downpayment on a home. He was determined to put down 20% and have 6 months of living expenses saved before he would buy a house.
Even though most of Jeffery’s friends already bought houses, he knew how stressed-out they were about their mortgages – or anytime something went wrong – because most of them hadn’t saved enough before they bought their house.
His patience to save paid off – both financially and spiritually. Psalm 37 tells us: “Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him.”
Jeffrey clung to this promise and experienced the Fruit of the Spirit, patience – which helped his finances!
