Fruits of the Spirit: Gentleness

Everyone knew Andy was wealthy.  he tended to make others feel little by bragging about all the expensive things he would buy.

Andy studied the Fruits of the Spirit, in Galatians 5. He realized that the way we use money is an outward indication of our inward spiritual condition.

The one that hit him the hardest was ‘gentleness’. This Fruit of the Spirit was clearly not apparent in the way he spent money, or how he made others feel when he talked about it.

Andy decided to get rid of many of his possessions; he became a generous giver, and became more aware of those that had less than he did.

Andy experienced more joy, more peace, and more freedom than before!
