Finding Joy in Work

What’s the worst job you’ve ever had? In college, I was a professional dumpster diver……. But, in some ways, it was the best job I ever could have asked for.

Yes! In college I took a job digging through the trash, looking for items my boss could use to fund his mission work. It was not fun, to say the least, and a humbling experience. But it allowed me to pay for school and taught me the value of a good job. God used it to provide for all my needs while improving my work ethic.

If you aren’t crazy about your job right now, ask God to give you the right heart towards it. Sometimes His provision looks different than what we expect. But He is always faithful to provide.
