Financial Infidelity

The conversation wasn’t going to be easy, and Danielle was nervous. She needed to be honest with her husband, Todd, about all her debt. She had never told him because she knew he would be stressed and she didn’t want to make him have to pay for her financial past. But Danielle realized her secrecy was dishonest, and she needed to tell him the truth.  

When Danielle and Todd sat down and talked, he was taken off guard about the debt, but responded graciously. They met with a financial counselor to put together a plan to pay off debt and restore unity and trust in their marriage.

Now, Danielle and Todd are making great progress towards their financial goals. It is always better to be honest and to work together.
