Are you struggling financially?

A trusted community is priceless when facing financial pain. They’ll hold up your arms when you’re weary and walk with you through financial challenges. Wise people can help us heal and grow strong. Don’t let pride keep you from moving forward and discovering what God has for you. Collapse yourself upon the Lord and abide among His people. The Body of Christ should be a place to experience love, acceptance, encouragement, and hope. It’s a place to grow in courage and faith as you learn to serve and be served. Seek out wise mentors. A friend of mine calls her group her Ironing Board because they help her iron out her problems. She goes to four volunteers for advice as needed. None of them has anything to gain by helping her, just a shared joy in watching the progress she makes. 

Taking part in community moves us out of isolation. It builds confidence and courage. Whether helping or receiving help, we’re to work as unto the Lord. So, join a community of believers. Your needs may grant someone else the opportunity to fulfill God’s purpose for his or her life, and that’s a win-win! Remember Hebrews 10: 23-25: “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good deeds, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.”
