Driving With Low Fuel Can Be Costly

A couple of months ago, I got stuck in a major city traffic jam when my fuel light came on. Ever had that happen?

Thankfully I was able to exit in time and fill up, but barely! You know, you can actually damage your engine by driving on low fuel, and in today’s world, it can be dangerous to run out of gas. Whenever your tank gets down to a quarter, stop and fill up. There are a number of mobile apps that can show you where the closest station is located and some will even tell you where to buy the lowest-priced gasoline. Also, keep $20 cash in your car to always have the money to buy gas in an emergency. By monitoring your fuel level, you can be sure you protect your engine and yourself.
