Credit Card Best Practices

Navigating the complicated world of credit cards can be overwhelming. So, here are a couple of tips to keep you on the right track.

First, only carry one card! Find one with great cash back rewards or frequent flyer miles.

Second, use it like cash. Pay your balance off in full every month, and quit using it if you ever miss a month.

Third, don’t use it for emergencies. Save up so you can pay cash for everything and don’t rely on your credit card for unexpected expenses!       

I don’t believe that credit cards are inherently evil – if you use them the right way, they can be financially beneficial! But if you don’t have a good history with them, then avoid them altogether!
