Crazy Money! The Importance and Value of the “Word”

It’s Crazy Money Day!

The demand for skilled communicators in the field of technology is rising. Companies hope large salaries will attract talent who will differentiate their brands and clearly convey messages in the market. In February, Business Insider reported that Netflix was seeking a director of product and technology communications. The salary ranged up to $775,000! The role emphasizes storytelling and communication skills in the tech industry. Applicants must be wordsmiths with strong communication skills and abilities. They must understand generative AI and its implications for content creation.

We’re bombarded daily with opinions, advice, and voices telling us how to live, how to spend, and what will bring us security. Unless we know God’s Word, it’s easy to drift despite our good intentions. The Bible anchors us. It tells us who God is, who we are, and how to live as faithful stewards of everything He provides.

God’s Word renews our minds and gives wisdom for daily decisions. It brings clarity out of confusion and peace out of anxiety. The psalmist wrote, Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” (Psalm 119:105) It helps us walk confidently, even in uncertain times. Financial freedom begins with biblical truth. Knowing God’s Word isn’t optional; it’s essential. It shapes our thinking, transforms our lives, and helps us discern what’s communicated through technology!

Now, I invite you to join us in Knoxville, Tennessee, this September as we celebrate all that God has done through Crown over the last 50 years. It will be held September 10th through 12th. You can learn more at crown.org/50years.”
