Crazy Money! Cirkul
It’s Crazy Money Day!
Cirkul is a water bottle that’s gone viral on social media. Have you heard of it? The company tapped into America’s health and water craze and is now valued at $1 billion. The brand is unique in that adjustable flavored cartridges can be inserted into the water bottles. Cirkul’s a 4-year-old startup. The founders were student athletes who struggled staying hydrated. They disliked the mess of pouring flavored powders into water bottles. So, they invented a mess-free method. They won their Dartmouth college pitch competition and started the company in Boston. Walmart and Bed, Bath and Beyond started selling the brand in April. Bottles cost $15 and the cartridges, called sips, run $3.75. These last for 6 refills and more than 50 flavors are available.
The company’s mission is to help people drink more water. Consumers flavor their water with a dial that controls intensity. There are no added calories, colors, or sugar. Plus, less plastic is used than disposable beverage bottles! They’re BPA-free, and the stainless-steel version will keep your beverages cold for 8 hours. It’s crazy, but Cirkul may be your answer to drinking more water! Just remember, no matter what kind of water you drink, your thirst will only be fully satisfied in Christ. He said, “… whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” (John 4:13-14)
