The Sphere in Las Vegas is drawing crowds who pay an average of $200 to see The Wizard of Oz. Though a failure when first released in 1939, it’s now drawing thousands of people each day. Executives estimate it will gross hundreds of millions of dollars over the next year. It’s crazy! Nearly $100 million was spent to adapt the classic to a more full-immersion experience. 360-degree visuals and huge, blowing fans create a tornado scene that thrills viewers. Exciting multi-sensory 4-D elements transport them to another world.

Americans spend a lot of money on entertainment. It distracts from anxiety, guilt, problems at work, or stress in relationships, but temporary escape can never truly satisfy. Only God is the solution. In Matthew 11, Jesus said, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
