Crater of Diamonds Find

It’s Crazy Money Day!

Years ago I took my family to the Crater of Diamonds State Park. It’s the only active diamond mine in America. 1 or 2 diamonds are usually found each day. We spent the day digging and sifting for diamonds to no avail. Now this year, a bank manager found the 2nd largest diamond unearthed at the park. It weighed over 9 carats.

Back in 2015, an 8 plus carat was found and valued at $1 million. In 1 John 2 we’re told not to love the things of this world and in Proverbs, it declares that the wisdom of God is “more precious than jewels.” Nothing we desire, or diamonds that we find, can ever compare to its value.
