Christians and Tipping

Have you heard those stories of waiters or waitresses getting massive tips??? Some have received thousands of dollars for a meal that cost less than $100. Talk about having your day made!

I’m always encouraged when I hear stories like this of generosity. And I think all Christians can learn great lessons from these stories.

We should seek to use our money to further God’s KINGdom, not to build our own THINGdoms.

The way we use our money is the best outward indicator of our inward spiritual condition.

Proverbs 11:25 says, A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.

So next time you’re feeling drained and out of energy, give of your time and money! Generosity will make you feel better!
