Children’s Expensive Activities

There is a long list of things that can wreck your budget – the never ending home repairs, the entire grocery store it takes to keep your kids fed, and of course, your kids activities.

All 4 of my boys played sports and were involved in many activities.

I wanted to encourage and cultivate the talents and interests of my children, but the reality is – it’s really expensive!

If you’re finding yourself in this position, I’d encourage you to first decide what you can and cannot afford. Then have an open and honest discussion with your kids and allow them to express their preferences and priorities.

It’ll be a blessing for both of you to live within your financial means and a practical lesson for your children on how to manage money.
