Checking Account Distribution

 Make giving your top financial priority.

To grow in your generosity open a giving fund. Have your income deposited into a checking account. Then regularly disperse that money into other accounts like a bill-paying account, emergency fund, savings account, and a giving fund. Distributing that money lessens the temptation to spend it. Out of sight – out of mind. It helps you see where money is spent or accumulated in each account.

Scripture tells us to plan ahead to give and to do it cheerfully. Do this on a regular basis and you’ll benefit from the discipline. Jesus said it’s more blessed to give than to receive. With a little planning, you’ll experience the blessing and the joy of living this way.
