Caught or Taught?

Remember when you first left home? I’d guess that you probably bought the same laundry detergent or dish soap that your mom always got. Why? Because many of our decisions are caught. Not taught.

This same principle is true of stewardship.

By pursuing godly contentment in your own life and finances, your kids  and mine…are much more likely to catch it as well. You many never fully know the impact your example has on your children. To help with this:

• Come home thankful for your job every day.
• Show the kids the joy that comes with giving generously.
• And talk to them about why God cares about the way they spend their money.
