Budgeting Limbo
When I was a kid, we loved playing the game Limbo. The bar was set at a certain height, and you had to bend backwards and walk under it without knocking it off. Well, that’s kinda like budgeting!
The bar you set in limbo is like your income. You have to figure out a way to live beneath your means, and get under the bar, even if it’s uncomfortable.
One of the biggest mistakes we make today is that we live way above our means. We make ends meet with credit cards and debt, but that just digs a deeper hole month after month.
Luke 14:28 says, “For which of you, desiring to build a tower, does not first sit down and count the cost, whether he has enough to complete it?”
