What do you actually own?

The Bible teaches that God owns everything. Absolutely everything! I once met a man who appeared on the Forbes 400 richest people in Asia. Then he lost it all. He told me, “I’d been a real estate developer worth over a billion dollars, but I wanted more. I became greedy, took crazy risks, and borrowed far too much money. Now I live a humble life telling people about God’s goodness.”

I told him he seemed joyful and he replied, “I am. The Lord disciplines those he loves – so he must love me very much.” He taught me that we can have an abundance mentality without being greedy. We serve a God of abundance.
