Throughout this document, you will see the names “Crown Financial Ministries” and “Crown.” You may also see references to “we,” “us” and “our.” These names and references always include all headquarters staff, Budget Coaches and Advisors, Crown Associates, Career Direct Network and Nation Leaders. Where applicable, this may also include third-party Processors.

Crown is committed to protecting your privacy and developing technology that gives you the most powerful and safe online experience. This Privacy Policy is designed to inform you of Crown’s privacy practices and principles regarding your online and offline information. Statement of Privacy applies to all Crown Financial Ministries websites and governs data collection and usage.

We care and highly respect your privacy. Crown’s Privacy Policy is to provide you with transparency in our privacy practices and give you our principles so that you may know how the information will be used. We will continue to treat your information with care and respect.

Collection of Your Personal Information

Crown Financial Ministries collects personally identifiable information that you provide through donations, purchases of Crown products, requests for free Crown resources and similar transactions with Crown. Crown collects this information because you voluntarily provide it. In some cases (for instance the purchase of a product or service or a request for a free resource), Crown will require certain information in order to complete the transaction.

This information includes but is not limited to your e-mail address, name, home or work address or telephone numbers. To continuously improve your service and tailor our subsequent communications to you, we may ask for additional information, such as your demographics, comments, professional interests, and contact preferences. When you donate, purchase an item, pay for an event, etc, we will have transaction information that you provide. This information might include your method of payment, credit card information, billing address, or other payment information.

There is anonymous information that may be collected that does not personally identify you, such as when you visit our websites, open our emails, click on promotions, or use our applications on third-party websites or platforms where we may collect usage, geographic location information, viewing habits, and technical data such as your computer hardware, browser information and software. This information can include your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times, device identifier, and referring website addresses. This information is used by Crown Financial Ministries for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the Crown Financial Ministries websites and online experiences.

The identity of all who contact Crown Financial Ministries will be kept confidential. Crown Financial Ministries collects and uses your personal information to operate the Crown Financial Ministries websites and offline support in order to deliver the services you have requested. The use of your personal information will be limited to the internal purposes of Crown Financial Ministries and only to further our ministry activities and purposes.

One exception to this policy is in the area of our radio ministry. If you sign-up or request information from one of our radio partner pages where both the logo of Crown Financial Ministries and the partner radio station logo is displayed, your basic information of name and email address may be shared only with the specific partner radio station. We do not share donation or transactional information or services.

Under no circumstances will we ever sell, rent, or lease your personal information to third parties. Your personal information will only be shared if we have a good-faith belief that access, use, preservation, or disclosure of the information is reasonably necessary to:

Retention of Your Personal Information

Crown retains your information for as long as your account is active, as long as your information is needed to provide you services, or as required to fulfill our legal obligations. If you wish to delete your account or request that we no longer use your information to provide you services contact us at customercare@crown.org. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.

Managing Your Personal Information

At your request, Crown will provide you with details of any personal information of yours contained in our records. You also have the right to correct any inaccurate information and you have the right to have your personal information deleted from Crown’s records. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at customercare@crown.org. We will respond to your request promptly and comply with your request within a reasonable timeframe.

Depending on the Crown program or product, you may have been provided an account that gives you the ability to manage some of your information yourself. To update or delete information in your account, login and make the changes you desire. The information you delete will be erased from the digital records on our servers. Certain demographic information may be retained (such as your gender, birth year, country of residence, etc.) for research purposes, however this information will be anonymous and no longer be attached to you personally.

Online Advertising

Crown Financial Ministries does promote and encourage support of our ministry activities by purchasing advertisement on third-party websites occasionally. When your visit the Crown Financial Ministries website or a third party promotion for Crown Financial Ministries, we use various tracking information and the utilization of “cookies” on your computer in order to recognize your computer and to help you personalize your online experience.
