Charles Raymond

Charles Raymond retired from working for Raymond Construction after 46 years and leading for 36 years as President and CEO. His responsivities focused on business development, sales, and corporate wide marketing, and customer relations.

After two years in the insurance industry, Charles joined Raymond Construction in 1977. From 1986 until 1993, the company went through a very tough cycle and became heavily in debt.

God provided the organization with key Christian men from his church for wise counsel. The company went from a low point of $ 1 million in sales to almost $200 million in 2022, Through His grace, Raymond Construction has been financially strong ever since.

Charles and Sandy have been married for over 48 years and are blessed with three daughters, three son-in-laws, and eleven grandchildren.

They both attended the University of Texas at Austin, with Charles graduating from Southern Methodist University with a BA in Business, and Sandy graduating from the University of Texas at Dallas with a BA in Business.

Sandy’s passions are creative in nature including the design and sewing of beautiful dresses and quilts. She also loves interior design and artistic crafts.

Charles has traveled to Asia, Africa, and South America with Crown. He joined the board of Crown in July 2012. He has served on a Foreign Mission Board, Dallas based non-profit board, including role as chairman, and is an Elder in his church, where he and Sandy have attended for 46 years.

Finally, he has a great passion for being and encouraging others to be faithful stewards of God’s gifts.
